DIFFERENTIALLY OR SELECTIVELY PERMEABLE MEMBRANE;

LIPID SOLUBLE PARTICLES;

THE SUBSTANCES WHICH ARE LIPID SOLUBLE CROSS IT MORE EASILY 

  THAN OTHERS, THEREFORE, IT REGULATES THE FLOW OF MATERIALS

  AND IONS,TO MAINTAIN A DEFINITE GRADIENT.
