WHAT IS GOLGI APPARATUS IN DETAILED???

★★★GOLGI APPARATUS★★★

DISCOVERED BY;

GOLGI APPARATUS WAS DISCOVERED BY  AN ITALIAN PHYSICIAN

CAMILLO GOLGI IN 1898.

GOLGI COMPLEX OR GOLGI APPARATUS;

THIS APPARATUS, WHICH WAS FOUND VIRTUALLY IN ALL EUKARYOTIC

   CELLS, CONSISTS OF STACKS OF FLATTENED,  MEMBRANE BOUND SACS,

   CALLED CISTERNAE. THIS CISTERNAE TOGETHER WITH ASSOCIATED

   VESICLES ARE CALLED GOLGI COMPLEX

golgi apparatus
COMPLEX SYSTEM;

IT IS A COMPLEX SYSTEM OF INTERCONNECTED TUBULES AROUND THE

 CENTRAL STACKS. CISTERNAE STACKS ARE CONTINUOUSLY FORMED BY

 FUSION OF VESICLES, WHICH ARE PROBABLY DERIVED BY THE BUDDING

OF SER.

 FORMING FACE;

THEIR OUTER CONVEX SURFACE IS THE FORMING FACE,

MATURING FACE;

WHILE THE INNER CONCAVE SURFACE IS THE MATURING FACE.

MOVEMENT OF CISTERNAE;

 THE CISTERNAE BREAK UP INTO VESICLES FROM THE LATTER.

    THE WHOLE STACK CONSISTS OF A NUMBER OF CISTERNAE

    THOUGHT TO BE MOVING FROM THE OUTER TO THE INNER FACE.

FUNCTION;

GOLGI COMPLEX IS CONCERNED WITH CELL SECRETIONS.

                 "SECRETIONS ARE PRODUCTS FORMED WITHIN THE CELL ON

                 RIBOSOMES AND THEN PASSED TO THE OUTSIDE THROUGH

                 ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM AND GOLGI APPARATUS "

PACKING OF PRODUCT;

THE SECRETIONS ARE CONVERTED INTO FINISHED PRODUCT

   AND ARE PACKED INSIDE MEMBRANE, BEFORE EXPORT.

FOR EXAMPLE;

 IN MAMMALS, THE PANCREAS SECRETES GRANULES CONTAINING

   ENZYMES THAT HELP IN DIGESTION. THE GOLGI COMPLEX HAS A

   ROLE IN FORMATION OF THESE GRANULES. THE PROTEINS OR

   ENZYMES WHICH HAVE TO BE TRANSPORTED OUT OF THE CELL

   PASS THROUGH THE GOLGI APPARATUS.

MOST IMPORTANT FUNCTION;

THE MOST IMPORTANT FUNCTION OF THIS APPARATUS IS TO MODIFY

    THE PROTEINS AND LIPIDS BY ADDING CARBOHYDRATES AND

   CONVERTING THEM INTO GLYCOPROTEINS OR GLYCOLIPIDS.

Define Heartbeat ?

HEARTBEAT ➤ The alternating  relaxations and contractions make up the cardiac cycle and one   complete  cardiac cycle makes one heartbeat.and in other words, one complete pulsation  of the heart  is called heartbeat. It is the complete regular movement movement of our  heart as it passes  blood around your body. STEPS OF CARDIAC CYCLE ➤ C omplete cardiac cycle consist of the following steps .   CARDIAC DIASTOLE ➤ Atria and ventricles relax and blood is filled in atria. this period is called cardiac   diastole.  In short, it is the period of relaxation of heart muscles.In one complete heartbeat,   diastole  lasts about 0.4 seconds. ATRIAL SYSTOLE ➤ It is the last phase in diastole during which the ventricular filling is  competed.    Immediately  after their  filling, both atria contracts and pump blood towards ventricles.   This period in  cardiac cycle is called  atrial systole.In o...
